Experience Weedon Island on a naturalist-led tour, where participants can discover native flora and fauna and the island’s rich cultural history.
Horseshoe Crab Watch Training with FWC | Saturday, September 5 | 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Florida Horseshoe Crab Watch is a volunteer program where volunteers help collect, measure, tag, and release the crabs. Learn more at this info session.
Pollinator Pop Up | Sunday, September 6 | 11 – 1 p.m.
Step inside the center to learn about the life of a pollinator through interactive activities!
Vegetable Gardening with Master Gardeners | Thursday, September 10 | 11:30 – 12:30 p.m.

Volunteer Archaeology Lab | Friday, September 11| 1 – 3 p.m.
Join professional archaeologists for a hands-on lab to help clean, sort, and identify artifacts uncovered at Weedon Island.

Pinellas County Vegetation Management offers a reading from an Eric Carle’s book. After reading, plant your own native plant seed through a guided activity to learn the important role native plants play in an environment.
Tiny Wildlife Experience | Saturday, September 19 | 9:30 – 11 a.m.
Discover butterflies, bees, crabs, and other tiny wildlife on a relaxed, naturalist-led walk, and participate in a Weedon Island bioblitz for parks for pollinators.
