🤟 September is Deaf Awareness Month! 🤟

This month, FCD celebrates the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing community and the unique experiences, culture, language, and contributions of Deaf individuals. Deaf Awareness Month is a great opportunity to learn about Deaf culture, learn some ASL, and promote accessibility.

Join us in celebrating and spreading awareness this September! 💙🤟

Join us this Saturday, September 5th at the Tampa Bay Rowdies game! We are excited to announce that FCD students will be performing the National Anthem in American Sign Language before the match! $4 from each ticket will go back to FCD. Come support our students, cheer on the Rowdies, and help support FCD! 🤟

FCD was excited to host our 5th Annual Deaf Fest, bringing organizations, families, and community members together to connect, share resources, and celebrate the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing community!

A big thank you to Seaside Seabird Sanctuary for hosting our Middle School and High School Summer Camp students! 🐦🌊

Our campers had a great time learning about seabird rescue and conservation while exploring the sanctuary.
