On behalf of the Childs Park Neighborhood Association, we would like to say, thank you to everyone who attended, participated in, volunteered for, and supported our Know Your Rights Workshop: Restore Your Rights. Register to Vote. Move Forward.
The event was a powerful reminder that information is power, and when we come together as a community, we can help people overcome barriers, access opportunities, and move forward with confidence.
A very special thank you to:
⭐ Dominion Worship Center for opening your doors and helping create a welcoming space for learning and empowerment.
⭐ Florida Rights Restoration Coalition for sharing critical information about rights restoration, voting eligibility, and civic engagement.
⭐ Black Voters Matter for helping connect residents with resources and opportunities to make their voices heard.
⭐ The dedicated members and volunteers of the Childs Park Neighborhood Association whose hard work behind the scenes made this event possible.
And most importantly, thank you to every resident, returning citizen, family member, and community supporter who showed up. Your presence demonstrated that our community believes in second chances, informed decision-making, and creating pathways to success.
This workshop was more than an event—it was another step toward building a stronger, more informed, and more connected community.
