Thank You, Major General and Mrs. Beck
At our August 12 City Council meeting, we had the honor of recognizing Major General Christopher Beck and his wife, Sally, and thanking them for the tremendous impact they have made on the City of St. Robert and our entire community.
Major General Beck was presented with the Patron of St. Robert Award, one of our City's special recognitions for those whose service and contributions have left a lasting impact on St. Robert. Sally was presented with a City of St. Robert blanket as a small token of our appreciation for the friendship, support, and commitment she has shown our community throughout their time here.
For the past three years, the Beck family has truly become part of our community. There is something especially fitting about General Beck's Army journey, bringing him back to Fort Leonard Wood, where he once served as a young lieutenant, to ultimately conclude his remarkable military career as a Major General and Commanding General of MSCoE & Fort Leonard Wood.
As they begin retirement and a well-earned next chapter filled with family and, hopefully, plenty of time with their grandchildren, we wish them nothing but happiness and success.
On behalf of myself, the St. Robert Board of Aldermen, our City staff, and the entire City of St. Robert, thank you, General and Sally Beck, for your service to our nation, your friendship, and everything you have done for our community.
You will always have a home and friends here in St. Robert. ๐บ๐ธ
