Today, I had the privilege of attending the Committee of Fifty Awards Luncheon and recognizing SSG Christopher Poore of the 169th Engineer Battalion, 1st Engineer Brigade.

SSG Poore was a member of the team that earned the title of 2025 MSCoE and Fort Leonard Wood Best Squad Competition Champions, an accomplishment that reflects exceptional leadership, teamwork, professionalism, and dedication to excellence.

On behalf of the residents of St. Robert, I was honored to present SSG Poore with a samml gift and a St. Robert Challenge Coin as a small token of our appreciation for his service and for representing Fort Leonard Wood with distinction.

Congratulations, SSG Poore, on this outstanding achievement, and thank you for your continued service to our nation and community.
