AUSA speaks out for the men and women of the United States Army who proudly serve our country. Made up en

tirely of volunteers, they provide recreational and educational opportunities to Soldiers and their families. Most importantly, they support our deployed Soldiers and families left behind. AUSA and its' chapters have contributed over $2,000,000 to awards, scholarships, and support of soldier and family programs. EDUCATION

Grassroots support for America's Army can only come when people know and understand the value of the Army to the nation. AUSA accomplishes this through its various chapters, our Institute of Land Warfare, Industry Affairs meetings & events, and our Government Affairs office. PROFESSIONAL BENEFITS

AUSA wants to become your professional association. As an Army professional, you need to keep current on issues that affect you in the work place. AUSA is the only organization in existence that offers educational material and events designed specifically to educate you about these issues.

The Chapter will not have a Monthly Meeting in August due to chapter leadership travel schedules. The next scheduled Monthly Meeting will be on September 9th at 07:30 at the Hampton Inn.

Today is the 6th annual Wagons for Warriors event. There are over 30 authentic Chuckwagons and crews serving period food for the approximately 1,000 attendees. Great weather, food, entertainment and people. There is still time to come out and enjoy the festivities at the Cowan Civic Center in Lebanon, MO.

There are 2 great events scheduled for this weekend. The 6th annual Wagons for Warriors event will have over 30 authentic Chuckwagons this year. Monies raised at the event will be used to support Soldiers and their families in need. Following Wagons for Warriors, the I44 Speedway will host their Military Appreciation Night at the Races. All Military, dependent family members and Veterans will be admitted in the grandstands FREE.

The chapter's Annual Dinner scheduled for May 6th has been postponed. We will notify you as soon as it is rescheduled. The chapter will have its' Monthly Meeting on 6 May at 0730 at the Hampton Inn. We hope to see you there.
