🚧 Parking Improvements on South Main Street

On Wednesday, September 2, the Village of Salado will update the first two parking spaces in the 400 block of South Main Street in accordance with Village Ordinance No. 2025-11.

Note: This work will be done after hours so we don’t disrupt any business.

These improvements will enhance safety and visibility near the intersection of Royal Street and South Main Street.

The spaces will be designated for standard-size golf carts and ATVs only. New signs and pavement striping will be installed.

A special thank-you to local resident and business owner Matt Treece of GMT Investments for donating the materials and his time to complete this much-needed safety project.

A much-needed road and culvert repair is now complete! While the project took a little longer than anticipated, the transformation was well worth the wait. 👏

Today, the crew was out at Hidden Glen working on Mary Lane. This significant repair was contracted to Pinnacle Paving to ensure the roadway is safe and accessible for both vehicles and pedestrians.

A big thank you to our Public Works team for enhancing the public parking area at Pace Park this past weekend! We also appreciate everyone’s patience while the work was underway.

We’re excited to provide additional parking for residents and guests, while also creating a wider, more pedestrian-friendly area for everyone to enjoy. These improvements will help make Pace Park even more accessible and welcoming for our community.

🚧 Notice - Additional Road Repairs 🚧

The Village of Salado has contracted with Pinnacle Paving to complete road repairs on Mary Lane, North Bishop Drive, and Salado Creek Road.

Work is scheduled for
Monday, August 31st
8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Please use caution when traveling through these areas, watch for workers and equipment, and follow all posted traffic-control signs.
We appreciate your patience as these needed road repairs are completed.

🚧 PACE PARK PHASE I – PARKING EXPANSION 🚧

The Village of Salado Public Works Department will begin Phase I of the Pace Park project to expand public parking for residents and visitors.
To safely complete this work, the lower portion of Pace Park Road will be closed. Barricades will be placed east of The Lodge on Salado Creek and Greenfields Coffee, Cocktails, Barrels & Brew.

Road Closure:
📅 Saturday, August 29
⏰ 6:00 a.m.–11:00 a.m.
No vehicle or pedestrian traffic will be permitted within the work area during the closure.

Funding for Phase I has already been allocated within the Village’s adopted FY 25/26 budget. No additional funding is being requested at this time.

Please plan accordingly and use caution near the construction area. We appreciate your patience as we work to improve public parking at Pace Park.
