The Precinct 2 Constable’s Office is proud to announce the appointment of
Reserve Deputy John Fisher, bringing more than 26 years of distinguished

Deputy Fisher began his career in the United States Marine Corps, serving as
a Military Police Officer. He later joined the Texas Department of Public
Safety, where he served as a State Trooper before being selected for a special

Commission and serves on Governor Abbott’s One-Star Foundation Board of
Directors.
“Deputy Fisher’s extensive experience, professionalism, and leadership will
be instrumental as we continue our mission of serving the courts in our civil

Chris Bazar.
Constable Bazar emphasized that this appointment reflects a continued
commitment to forward planning and community safety. “When I ran for this
office, I made a commitment to the voters to stay ahead of our county’s
evolving landscape. As our precinct continues to grow, our ability to plan,
coordinate, and ensure public safety remains paramount. Deputy Fisher’s
expertise directly enhances these ongoing efforts as we begin to lay out the
groundwork for a comprehensive public safety response plan from the
Precinct 2 Constable’s Office.”
He added that Fisher’s appointment further supports the office’s long-term
priorities. “This addition strengthens our ability to maximize taxpayer
