We at Salado Area Republican Women feel it is extremely important to not only know who's running for national and state-level political positions, but also to know your local political candidates. With that said, we are going to be posting who is running, what position they're running for, and their website so that you can do further research and get to know them. Share them with your friends and neighbors so that they, too, can be informed and invest in our community's future with their vote.

Our community is directly impacted by those we vote into positions of power. Make that vote one of informed, intentional action. Vote your values and watch our communities be strengthened by that vote.

POSITION: BELL COUNTY JUSTICE OF THE PEACE, PRECINCT 1
CANDIDATE: PATRICK "PAT" PATTERSON

🚨 BREAKING 🚨 Three SOAH judges have recommended AGAINST administrative approval of the 765 kV transmission lines running from Bell County, West thru the Hill Country to Sand Lake.

SOAH judges have heard from landowners and they agree.

The Public Utility Commission of Texas can now adopt, modify, or reject the application. The Commission should listen to the people of Texas and the courts and accept SOAH's ruling and DENY the application for CCN.

If you want change in government, you have to attend city council meetings, board meetings, etc. Our Bell County Republican Party Chair is setting the example in Harkers Heights. Our taxes will never be lowered unless we go and testify about the problem of high taxes. Thank you Tony Canterino Bell County Republican Party Chair for setting the example.

Last night, I had the opportunity to speak at the Harker Heights city council workshop in an effort to thwart a second consecutive property tax rate increase by this council. I didn't speak as a Party Chair, but as a resident, business owner, and a taxpayer of with only a homestead exemption. I was impressed to see three precinct chairs also attended and the two who were residents also spoke. Take the time to get involved. You can get a lot done in three minutes!
