Join us as we will be providing families with school supplies, backpacks, community resources, and fun activities for Military families!

It will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024 in Clackamas, OR from 2:00PM to 5:00PM.

Open to Military families of all branches. Register youth ages 0-18, all other ages are welcome to the event. School supplies and backpacks are reserved for school-age youth (ages 5-18).

Saturday, June 15th, 2024. 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM with lunch provided between 11:30 and 12:45. Event to be taken place at Henry Hagg Lake in Scoggins Park, near Forest Grove Oregon.

The current Continuing Resolution (CR) for Department of Defense (DoD) spending expires at 2359 EDT on 22 March 2024. A new CR or budget is not expected until after the deadline. Therefore, the creation of new Tuition Assistance Requests (TARs) are suspended as of 1000 EDT today, 22 March 2024.
The Army will delete TARs today at 1959 EDT (7:59PM EDT/4:59PM PDT) for courses that start tomorrow and will continue to delete each day until the government shutdown ends. Retroactive TA will not be authorized for courses deleted during the shutdown.

What does this mean:
1) If the Soldier didn't submit their Fed TA request already, they cannot until the government shutdown ends. Unfortunately, the last day to request Spring term is 8 days prior to the term start date.
2) It also means even if the Soldier has approved Spring term Fed TA, if the government shutdown isn't resolved prior to the term start date, the TA request will be deleted. Retroactive TA will not be authorized for courses deleted during the shutdown.

It is time to show your egg-citement because it is once again time for our Eggstravaganza Egg Hunt!!



Join us for an “egg”cellent and fun filled day!! This event will include egg hunts for 0-3 and 4-10 year olds, and a Geocaching hunt led by Civil Air Patrol for 11-18 year olds. We will also be having crafts, community partners, snacks, and more! The Easter Bunny may also be making an appearance!



This will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2024 from 10:30AM to 12:30PM at the Portland Air National Guard Base.

Building Strong and Ready Teams (BSRT) Couples Event, 19-21 APR 2024. ORARNG conducts a BSRT Couples Event at Sunriver Lodge, Sunriver, OR, from 19-21 APR 2024. Participants may register at https://bsrt.army.mil, beginning on 04 MAR 24. BSRT events are only for Army National Guard Soldiers and their immediate family members who are authorized dependents enrolled in DEERS. Priority will be given to deploying Soldiers (email SGT Nowacki, below, to confirm registration). Soldiers who have already participated in a BSRT overnight event in the past 12 months will be put on a wait list. There is currently no funding for Soldier Pay and Allowances for this event. Participants may request SUTA, AT orders, or points-only orders at their commander's discretion. Lodging beginning on FRI and meals for SAT and SUN are provided. Childcare is provided. (Note: older children may participate in the seminar at parents' discretion.) The curriculum is The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Marriages. See attached flier.
