And in the blink of an eye - it is time to start planning for the 2026 State and local fair season! The Oregon State Fair dates for this year are August 28 - September 7.

There are two opportunities for you to consider to support the State Fair.

1 -Enter your fiber art in addition to your local fairs.
See the handbook: https://oregonexpo.org/competitions/creative-
living/textiles/
or send Pam an email: [email protected]
2. Demonstrate during the fair. Sign up will begin in June. In the meantime - check

We are reaching out to our spinning friends to see if they have any handspun off-white yarn to donate.

This is primarily for a Salem Fiberarts Guild display project in the Textile Learning Center at Willamette Heritage Center, but it will also be used at the Oregon State Fair demonstration area this summer.

If you can help,
1. Please hit reply and let me (Pam) know
2. Deliver to the Textile Learning Center (or pm here - I'll give you my home address for mail)

Small amounts welcome!
