Tonight is Back to School Night!! Don't forget to sign up for the MCES PTA & also enter to win this cool Family Fun Basket worth over $75! It contains gift cards for pizza and movie rentals, family games and activities and snacks. How do you enter?!?! By donating in increments of $5. For each $5 donated they get 1 entry. For example: A $15 donation =3 entries. This basket was donated by Mountain Pass Baptist Church for the MCES PTA.

As summer begins coming to an end we are preparing to make the 2021-2022 school the best come back ever and we need you to make that possible!!! On Tuesday, July 27th we are going to hold a planning meeting at 6:30pm at the pavilion at Masons Cove. We desperately need each able person to come out and get involved. What you do matters to us and ultimately to your child and the community. Get involved NOW and help us make this the best year yet!!!

Our friend, Kevin,  husband and father of two, has lost his battle with cancer after over a year of courageously fighting this insidious disease.  Kevin's wife, Amy, has been faithfully by his side through countless doctor appointments and chemo treatments.  She will be left with....

Fundraising has been difficult during this time. We are still working on creative ways to help support our children and our staff we also want to encourage any of those able to help as well. Working with the teachers many have put together an Amazon wish list. You can follow the link below where you can purchase items from a teacher's wish list and have it sent straight to them. They holidays are fast approaching and we are excited to announce that we have partnered with many of your favorite consultants and advocates for our first ever Virtual Holiday Vendor Fair!!

This event will take place from Nov. 14th through the 28th! Feel free to share this information with friends and family. 20% of all proceeds benefit the MCE PTA!

Our next meeting is set for November 17th. We will now be meeting in the library. Please plan to attend to help in supporting our community!!!

Be aware since we are inside the school there will be temperature checks at the door and Roanoke County asks that we wear a mask while inside the building. Thank you for all of your help in our endeavors!!

Meeting this Tuesday, October 20th at 6pm at MCES. We will be discussing upcoming fundraiser plans and how to encourage involvement. Currently weather looks great so we will plan to meet under the pavilion. We look forward to seeing many parents there as we work together to support all of the students and staff at The Cove.

This is your reminder that the PTA Board will be meeting this coming Tuesday, September 15th at 6pm. Weather permitting we will be at the pavilion at school. Please make plans to attend this meeting especially if you want to get involved in supporting the students and staff at Masons Cove!!!

Tomorrow is September 1st, many families are beginning to settle into a new routine. Now that you have, keep in mind that our first planned event is September 18th. The plan was a family fun night. Sadly we have not found someone able and willing to head up planning the event. Would you please consider getting involved and helping out? The community support is needed now more than ever!!!
