I repeat it is not about me.” She focused attention on the consequential campaign ahead and her need for everyone’s help. Drazan showcased Kotek's vulnerability and reminded the audience that Trump won more votes in Oregon in 2020 (919,000+) than Kotek did in 2022 (917,000+)...

Oregon Republicans Rally Around Unity and November Victory at GOP Unity Luncheon

Salem, Ore. — The Oregon Republican Party, in partnership with the Oregon Senate & House Republican Caucuses, hosted its GOP Unity Luncheon yesterday, bringing together Republican candidates, elected officials, party leaders, and grassroots activists from across Oregon as Republicans formally shift their focus toward the November General Election.

The private event served as an opportunity to recognize and thank Republican candidates who stepped forward to run during the 2026 Primary Election cycle, congratulate nominees, and reinforce the importance of party unity and collaboration heading into November.

A defining moment of the luncheon occurred when Republican gubernatorial nominee Christine Drazan publicly recognized and thanked each of the candidates who challenged her during the Republican primary election, including Chris Dudley, Ed Diehl, David Medina, and Danielle Bethell. Speaking directly to each candidate, Drazan thanked them for their willingness to serve Oregon and for their commitment to advancing Republican principles. In turn, Dudley, Diehl, Medina, and Bethell each pledged their support for Drazan’s campaign and encouraged their supporters to unite behind the Republican nominee heading into the general election...

"We believe human-powered watercraft, such as canoes, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards, (SUP's), are among the most environmentally friendly forms of recreation on Oregon's lakes, rivers, and coastal waterways. The Oregon State Marine Board has even acknowledged that non-motorized watercraft are not a primary vector for aquatic invasive species, as they do not contain live wells, bilge water, or ballast tanks. Requiring permits or fees for people to paddle at a lake or river punishes responsible recreationists and discourages outdoor activity ~ especially low-income families, youth groups, and veterans. This unjustified money-grab by politicians does not meaningfully prevent invasive species, but rather creates unnecessary bureaucratic barriers and violates the spirit of free and open public access to Oregon's natural resources."

Outdoor enthusiasts in Oregon are preparing for a significant change in how the state’s public waterways are accessed, as a new requirement set to take effect in 2026 expands permit rules for all paddlecraft.

Under updated regulations from the Oregon State Marine Board, all non-motorized watercraft—including kayaks, canoes, rafts, stand-up paddleboards, and inflatable vessels—will be required to purchase and carry a Waterway Access Permit while on Oregon waters. The requirement expands an existing program that previously applied only to certain paddlecraft based on length.

Oregon Democrats removed graduation standards in all Oregon schools in 2021. Student achievement has plummeted, taking Oregon to embarrassing and tragic lows.

Like California, Oregon's failure to educate children is disastrous not only for the children who are being harmed, but also to the future of our nation and its ability to innovate, solve problems, and compete internationally. What are getting for the huge investment we are making in our schools? It's not a matter of money; it's a matter of priorities.



"Hundreds of University of California (UC) professors signed a letter demanding the reinstatement of SAT/ACT mathematics requirements for students after revealing they are re-teaching basic math to incoming students...

"We now observe preparation gaps so severe that instructors must re-teach middle school mathematics while simultaneously teaching the material students need for sciences, engineering, economics and other quantitatively demanding fields," the letter read."

A federal judge declined Thursday to block President Donald Trump’s executive order targeting mail ballots, delivering a blow to Democrats who claim the order could disenfranchise millions of voters.

The executive order, signed March 31, directs the Department of Homeland Security to compile a list of all adult U.S. citizens living in each state and would direct USPS to deliver mail ballots only to individuals appearing on the lists.

A federal judge ruled Democrats' bid to block Trump's executive order on mail ballot delivery was premature since no agency has yet acted on it.
