Please plan ahead! Town Hall and the Ingram Senior Center will be closed on Monday, September 7, 2026, in observance of Labor Day.

Normal business hours will resume on Tuesday, September 8. We wish everyone a safe and enjoyable holiday weekend!

The Town of Salem is seeking a dependable and motivated individual to provide custodial care, minor maintenance, and general upkeep of the Salem Police Department and surrounding grounds. The position reports to the Parks and Properties Foreman and Superintendent of Facilities and works closely with Police Command Staff.

This is a full-time, benefitted AFSCME position starting at $22.57 per hour.

Town of Salem, NH Town Moderator, Bernie Campbell, reminds residents that Primary Day is Sept 8th in NH. He encourages any voters that are using the Absentee Ballots to get them to Town Hall as soon as possible because Labor Day is Monday Sept 7th and Town Hall is closed that day.
