For our Social Work / Human Services folk! (Apologies, just learned about this one):

We are just a few days away from making history together: March 17th will bring the largest gathering of veterans, researchers, and health professionals EVER on Harvard's campus:

➡️ Neuropsychiatrists investigating novel treatments, sitting next to:
➡️ VA counselors looking for new tools, sitting next to:
➡️ Storytellers creating understanding through film that brings research papers to life, sitting next to:
➡️ Veterans, service members, first responders, and family members

We're creating a space where science and storytelling meet lived experience. Where unconventional approaches are seriously considered. Where YOUR expertise contributes to real SOLUTIONS.

You belong in this historic room. Time's running out. Claim your spot🔗 https://NextMissionSummit.org

What's better than next week's Pizza Social? Bowling!

Save the date (2/28!) for Candlepin Bowling at Leo's Metrobowl in Peabody (MA) from 6-9pm on Friday, February 28th! Alumni welcome and encouraged! We'll only have a handful of lanes, so keep an eye out for the RSVP (coming soon) - but we're pretty confident everyone will get some decent lane time!

Edit: "D'oh!" Re-added the date.

How we can Help

Every Monday from 11:00am to 12:00pm all are welcome to attend the SVO meetings to discuss SVO events and ways to improve our school.

Tuesday is Vet’s Corner from 10:30am to 1:00pm. Beverages and assorted pastries are always there. Come by and have a discussion with other Vets about life, school, or random things.

There are computers and a printer for student use.

Come by to ask questions about any issues or how you can volunteer your time to help out the Student Veteran Organization
