Our story

Found in 1996 as the Ogunquit Host Committee the organization started with a small group of people whom brought a few of the Quilt panels to the community each year. Since our inception, we have evolved into a Chapter of The NAMES Project Foundation (NPF) and the NAMES PROJECT Northern New England a 501C3 organization who represent the NPF in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and parts of Massachusetts.

Our shared mission is to preserve, care for, and use the AIDS Memorial Quilt to foster healing, heighten awareness, and inspire action in the struggle against HIV and AIDS. Remembering, educating and reflecting on people who died from HIV related illnesses.
