Greater Salem Area Foundation

Greater Salem Area Foundation Non-profit organization providing financial and material assistance to those residents of the Salem High School District experiencing hardships

The foundation is comprised of a membership of volunteers from the greater Salem area and is open to anyone wanting to be a member. Funds are collected through membership dues, donations, and fund raisers. Each application for assistance is considered on its own merits.

The Greater Salem Area Foundation and the Greater Salem Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the annual Evening of Honors Award Dinner on Thursday, March 24, at the Salem Elks Lodge. Doors will open at 6:00 pm, with the meal being served at 6:25pm. Tickets are $25 in advance; $30 at the door.

The Foundation is hosting the 2nd ANNUAL MEET THE WILDCATS Basketball Classic this Saturday, Nov 10 @ 6:30pm, SCHS B.E.Gum gymnasium. 5 games PLUS 3pt Challenge for the crowd. $4 adults $2 students. Hope to see you there!!!

On August 28, 2012 Greater Salem Area Foundation Board members unveiled a plaque, hung at the Marion County Courthouse. The plaque lists past winners of the Honor Awards has space to add honorees for the next several years.
