Our Care Connection program is a great opportunity for anyone who may not have a lot of friends or family and could use a lending ear on a weekly basis. We connect you with a volunteer who is interested in learning about your interests, hobbies and can keep you in the loop with community events and so much more! Don’t forget to share with a friend or family member that could benefit from this wonderful program!

Requirements:
-You must live in Salem County
-Must be 60 year of age or older OR must be a homebound or disabled individual who is 18 year old or older.
-Must pass a background check

The Salem County Department of Health & Human Services is excited to announce this year's art contest! This design will be used on the event bags for our 2026 Disability Awareness & Caregiver Resource Fall Festival in the Fall, so we are looking for art that promotes disability awareness. This contest is open to anyone 14 years of age and older & all submissions must be submitted between May 1, 2026- June 1, 2026. Please see the attached flyer for more details.
