We're half way through the year and these awesome humans are already leaving their mark. From supporting and leading classes, attending weekly trainings, bagging onions and potatoes, navigating resources for the community and creating memories, there's nothing these brilliant minds can't do. We, at MFS, are so grateful to have a team so dedicated to creating impact in every space they enter. Thank you for bringing your full self to this service, and thank you for letting MFS be apart of journey.

AmeriCorps Kick-Off ☑️ We are live and in color with attending our first AC Kick-Off since pre-Covid! What a fun, informative and inspiring day to connect with other AC members and their programs from across Oregon. Huge thanks to Oregon Serves: State Service Commission to bringing us all together 😄❤

What an exciting week! AmeriCorps had the opportunity to join the MFS leadership and Portland Electric Ways to Work Team to have a sit down with Senator Jeff Merkley. AmeriCorps is playing a big part in spreading awareness and education around e-mobility in the communities the serve and beyond through Portland Clean Energy Fund. Anay (2nd year) had the opportunity to talk about AmeriCorps and share her experience with her service as well as the mission MFS is carrying out. 😃
