The online PX is now open to Veterans!

To participate in the Veterans online shopping benefit you must submit proof of your honorable discharge.

This must be a federal government form that includes your full name at time of discharge, SSN/Service Number and a discharge status that is either "honorable" or "general under honorable conditions." Your paperwork cannot be redacted in any way, including but not limited to: crossing sections out, covering them with liquid eraser or filling them with dark ink; overlapping and/or folding copies where the full page is not visible or readable; and/or removing sections, whether by cutting them out or otherwise removing them from the document.

Examples of acceptable paperwork include: DD214 (Member Copies 2-8), DD215 (with corrected discharge status), NGB-22 or DD256/257.

Please note that Member Copy 1 of the DD214 does not provide all the necessary information to check your eligibility.

State law provides a property tax exemption for solar farms, but the law also allows communities to “opt out” of the exemption.
The Hudson Falls school district as well as village and town have opted out as has the town of Schagiticoke. The Fort Ann, Granville and Salem schools have also opted out as has the village of Argyle and towns of Easton and Cambridge.

The Georgi on the Battenkill Community Park and Museum is nestled along the river in Shushan, NY, just west of the Vermont Border. The Battenkill wraps around the property, surrounding the lush lawns and beautiful gardens.
The Georgi is a New York State Fishing Access Point, and fly fisherman are often seen wading and casting. It is a convenient place to enter the Battenkill on tubes or in canoes.
