There’s been a crime in the library! Our super sleuth 3rd-5th graders have been solving book crimes this week as they learn about caring for books.

First-Fifth grade students will be checking out books from our Mount Loafer library beginning this week and next week.

Picture Day is coming! Students will have the opportunity to have their picture taken on Wednesday, September 2nd. Packets can be purchased two ways: return the form that was sent home with payment on picture day or you can order online at bellphoto.com. Please use the code MTLOAFERFALL2026 if ordering online. If you would like more information, please contact your child’s teacher.

Picture retake day will be on October 8th.

We are so excited to welcome our Grizzlies back to school! Come meet your teachers at our Open House on August 17th from 1:30-3:00 pm. If you are unable to make it during this time, please reach out to your child's teacher individually to schedule another appointment. We can't wait to see you all!

Student placements for the upcoming school year will be available to view on Infinite Campus starting tomorrow, August 5.

Please note that the window for discussing class placement requests has now closed. If you have specific
questions or would like to share information about your child's individual needs, we encourage you to connect
directly with your child’s teacher once class placements are released. This partnership helps us work together
to provide the best possible support for your child throughout the school year.

Meet Miss Muir! She will be joining our first grade team this year.

Hello!! My name is Miss Muir and I am so excited to join the Mt. Loafer family this year! I am from Herriman, Utah and recently graduated from BYU. I love to be outside, travel, read, and spend time with friends and family. I am obsessed with the sunshine and my favorite meal of the day is snack time. I can’t wait to meet my students and am looking forward to a wonderful year!
