White River Area Agency on Aging provides in home services for the elderly and disabled to enable them to live in their own home. Our services include but are not limited to personal care, light housekeeping, adult companion services, respite, targeted case management, transportation services, personal emergency response systems, assisted living, low income housing for people 62 and older, Medicar

e and Medicare part D counseling. Our Mission: To advocate for, and develop a coordinated system of programs and services that improve and enhance the quality of life for older and at risk adults and enables them to live independently with dignity in the least restrictive environment.

Our Senior Centers are welcoming gathering spots where active older adults can connect, make new friends, and enjoy fun health and wellness activities—all while sharing a nutritious, hot lunch. Each center offers its own unique schedule of special events, so we encourage you to reach out to your local center to see what’s happening near you.
Whether you love playing bingo, shooting pool, dancing, quilting, or card games, or prefer yoga, strength training, and art classes, there’s something here for everyone. Many centers also provide valuable resources like grief support groups, thrift shops, clothing exchanges, and nutrition classes. Some locations even offer monthly blood pressure and blood sugar screenings to help you stay on top of your health.

No matter your activity level or mobility, there are opportunities to get involved—whether by joining leadership groups or volunteering in your community. We invite you to come join us, make connections, and enjoy everything your Senior Center has to offer!

🎉 What a fantastic day at Fulton County Senior Day! 🎉

We had an incredible time celebrating with more than 250 seniors from across the community! From exciting games of bingo to reconnecting with friends, today has been filled with laughter, fellowship, and fun.

A special thank you to Bank of Salem for sponsoring today’s delicious lunch and helping make this event so special. Your generosity and commitment to our seniors are truly appreciated!

In-home care for aging and disabled adults provides hands-on care by trained Home Care Assistants under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

Some services provided include personal care, bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, meal planning, medication reminders, walking, transfers, light housekeeping, and relief for caregivers.
