Find ‘Em Friday

Here we have another alleged theft from a local business to take you into the weekend.

Nothing really fancy about this one.

This is her.
She allegedly stole some stuff.
We need to know who she is.
No, we don’t have facial recognition.
Yes, this is actually doing our job.
No, we don’t think she’s a bad person.
Yes, we want to talk to her.

The floating faces aren’t real.

Anywho, if you know her or are her, please contact Det. Carlin at 603-890-2304 or at [email protected].

Thank you and have a great, safe, weekend.

PRESS RELEASE

Fatal Crash Under Investigation

On Thursday, May 28th, at approximately 7:44 PM, the Salem Police Department received a 911 call reporting a collision, with injury, in the area of 112 Haverhill Road.

Responding units located a collision between a motorcycle and a pickup truck. Life saving measures were attempted on the operator of the motorcycle, both by nearby witnesses and responding officers, however, the operator of the motorcycle was declared deceased on scene.

Haverhill Road was closed while the Salem Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit (CAR) responded to investigate the accident. Preliminary investigation revealed that a 2024 Aprilia RS 660 motorcycle, operated by Steven White, age 54, of Derry New Hampshire, was travelling northbound on Haverhill Road when he collided with a 2008 Dodge pickup truck, operated by Carter Lemire, age 17, of Salem New Hampshire. The pickup truck had been travelling southbound and was turning left into a driveway when the collision occurred.

This incident remains under investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact the lead CAR investigator, Detective Nicholas Powden, at the Salem Police Department.

Theft Thursday

Good morning 🌞 and welcome back.

I’ll give you 2 guesses as to where this theft happened and I have a feeling you won’t need the second.

🍎.

This dynamic duo were involved in a theft from 🍏, particularly the theft of IPad keyboards.

Actually, I wouldn’t be surprised if they use those keyboards to comment on this post about how we shouldn’t worry about this and say “wow, those suspects are really stylish and definitely did not do anything illegal”.

Well, suspects, we may not disagree with your style (I’m a fan of Lululemon myself, although I’ve never used one of their bags to conceal & steal merchandise….I’ve also been known to talk a little ball), but we DO disagree with your choices, which were absolutely illegal.

We also have CCTV footage…

😬 Yikes 🫣

BUT, we have a solution!

Let’s all make this easy. Why don’t you come on in, talk to Officer Olms, take care of all of this, maybe we can go over the new spring/summer lineup at Lulu, maybe talk some hoops (I see that Jordan hat 🏀 👀 ).

I just really hope you learn from this mistake…and you’re not an OKC fan. I mean, what’s the deal? If I wanted to see that many flops I’d go to the beach 🩴. It’s embarrassing. Unwatchable, really.

Anyways, if you know these two, or ARE these two, please contact Officer Olms at 603-893-1911 or at [email protected].

Thank you.

The Mock Casualty Incident (MCI) was great!

No helicopter this year due to a serious incident elsewhere, but the students did a wonderful job compiling everything they have been learning over the last year.

The chaos was overwhelming but they kept it together and achieved their goal!

Well done, Salem CTE, keep up the good work!

SALEM CTE - MOCK MASS CASUALTY EVENT 2026

Presented by Salem CTE in Partnership with Salem Police & Fire Departments

Event Logistics

· Date: Wednesday, May 27th (Rain Date: May 28th)

· Location: Rear Staff Parking Lot (Overlooking the Field Hockey Field)

· Duration: Full-scale simulation from 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM

From SHS CTE:

“Our CTE students will be participating in a realistic training simulation. The idea is that students utilize the advanced skills they have been honing, in their programs, for two years. This year students from our Health Science, Automotive, Teacher Prep, TV Production, Cosmetology and Criminal Justice and Fire Science ELO’s will participate.

This collaborative effort, across our Center features our partners at the Salem Police and Fire Departments, and weather permitting, a visit from DHART (the Dartmouth Health Advanced Response Team medical helicopter).”

Reminder: This is a simulation. All sirens, emergency vehicles, and medical activity observed are most likely part of this planned training exercise.
