Families, neighbors, friends, and visitors are invited to gather at Fort New Salem for a joyful Independence Day bell ringing in honor of the 250th anniversary of the United States. Wear your red, white, and blue, bring your patriotic spirit, and join voices and bells with communities across the nation as we mark this historic milestone together.

Come celebrate freedom, history, community, and the promise of the next 250 years as we gather to ring Fort New Salem’s bells 250 times.

On Saturday May 16th, Fort New Salem opens for season 52 and this year is extra special.

Join us for the 13th Annual John Randolph Spring Arts Kick Off. During our entire season we will be honoring the 250th anniversary of our country.

As opening day approaches will be updating information about this event.

We are pleased to once again partner with VFW MEUSE-ARGONNE POST 573 AUXILIARY who will provide food service at the John Randolph Spring Arts Kick Off.
