ANNOUNCEMENT FOR WEDNESDAY, MAY 13
Due to Bridge St. being closed on Wednesday, May 13 for a large funeral at St. James for local hero and fallen State Trooper Kevin Trainor, all Council on Aging classes, lunch and transportation are cancelled for Wednesday, May 13. The Salem Food Pantry is moved to Thursday, May 14. Thank you for your understanding.

Red Sox Team Curator Sarah Ottinger and Former Red Sox Catcher Bob “Monty” Montgomery

Red Sox legend Bob Montgomery visited the Community Life Center on April 28 as part of his North Shore tour. Nicknamed “Monty”, he is an American former professional baseball player and television sports commentator. He played his entire career in Major League Baseball as a catcher and occasional first baseman for the Boston Red Sox from 1970 to 1979. Sharing tales of his days with the Red Sox, Montgomery kept the attention of COA participants and staff alike!
