Mrs. Johnson’s favorite thing about Salem Elementary? All of our amazing students! When she’s not keeping our school running smoothly, you can find her enjoying a warm bowl of chicken Alfredo or indulging in her favorite sweet treat: brownies and ice cream. 🍨🍫

Salem Elementary Parents & Students: The final school bells will go silent at 3:15 today! 🔔 School will be officially OUT for Fall Break (Salem, UT, October 15th-October 19th). Yes, that means an extra-long weekend of family fun and fall adventure! NO SCHOOL ON MONDAY! We'll see you back on Tuesday, October 20th. 🍂🎃

Spooktacular news! 🎃👻 Mark your calendars for our Halloween Parade on October 30! We'll be marching outside and around the block. PM Kindergarten will parade around the 3rd grade field—come cheer on our cute little witches, ghosts, vampires, and pumpkins! 🧙‍♀️🦇

⏰ Parade Schedule:

* Morning Parade: 9:15 a.m. (around the block)
* Afternoon Kindergarten Parade: 12:50 p.m. (around the 3rd grade field)

📌 Quick Costume Reminders:
* No masks or weapons
* Please leave small accessories at home so nothing gets lost or broken!

👻 Halloween Party: Oct 22, 4-6:30 PM. Trick-or-treat games, and arts activities (costumes encouraged)!

🖼️ Annual Youth Art Competition: Open to K-10 students in Utah Valley. Exhibition runs Nov 21, 2026 - Jan 6, 2027.

🍪 Santa’s Art Shop: Dec 10, 5-7 PM. Cookies, milk, and holiday art projects with Santa!

Congrats to our "All-star of the Month"
Ms. Cunningham is truly our “whatever you need, I’ve got it!” person! Need a kindergarten teacher? She’s there. Need a sub? She’s there. Need someone calm, positive, kind, and completely unruffled? She’s definitely there!
She jumps in wherever she is needed, always with a smile and an easygoing attitude. She is capable, dependable, and incredibly helpful, and we are so grateful to have her on our team.
She is the perfect example of One Team, One Dream!
