Serra Club of Salem-Keizer Our mission is to pray for and promote vocations in the Salem & Keizer area.

We strive to foster and promote vocations to the ministerial priesthood in the Catholic Church, as a particular vocation to service and to support priests in their sacred ministry; to encourage and affirm vocations to consecrated religious life in the Catholic Church, and to assist members to recognize and respond in their own lives, to God’s call to holiness in Jesus Christ and through the Holy Spirit.

Please pray for Br. Isaiah as he prepares to become a permanent member of our monastic community.

On Tuesday, September 3, Br. Novice Brandon Contreras (left) and Br. Novice Sherif Kamal (right) will make their simple profession of vows and receive their new profession names during Mass in the Abbey church at 7 pm. All are welcome to attend or follow on livestream.

Please pray for Br. Brandon and Br. Sherif as they prepare to take the Benedictine vows of stability, obedience, and conversion of life for a period of three years.
