Last evening Hebron Volunteer Fire Company had their annual meeting and election of officers. Total calls for 2025 including mutual aid responses were 286! 107 Fire calls and 179 First Response. This included 22 Structure fires, 20 motor vehicle accidents and 14 grass and brush fires.

Our community’s support throughout the year is invaluable. Each and every donation received is put towards equipment to keep our volunteers safe and able to effectively operate and respond to your emergency calls. There was a very popular annual event here in Hebron up until some time in the eighties. It's getting a reboot this year. We're very much looking forward to it. On Saturday September 20, 12pm-6pm, the Hebron Day celebration will return on the field behind the Fire Hall/Town Court building. The Hebron Volunteer Fire Company will be holding a Chicken BBQ (details on flyer) and will be holding a drawing to raffle off a full patio set generously donated by Telescope Casual Furniture which has a production facility in Granville. $1,800 retail value. If you'd like a ticket or ten to support the fire company here and have a chance at the patio set or the $100 second prize, contact any member of the Fire Company or buy tickets the day of. There will be music, vendors, games, an Apple Pie contest and more. Our snack bar will be open with very limited options from 2pm to 5pm, but we encourage everyone to bring your own picnic food if you like and to eat under the big tent. We hope to see you all there.
