Justice with Accountability and Restoration
I am running for Washington County Prosecutor because justice should do more than punish — it should protect communities, hold offenders accountable, help restore and rehabilitate mental health, and reduce future crime.
1. Accountability that Leads to Real Change
The goal of prosecution should not be punishment alone, but accountability paired with opportunity for rehabilitation. For non-violent offenders, the justice system must take responsibility for achieving positive outcomes, not just convictions.
This means expanding access to:
• Treatment and recovery programs
• Mental health services
• Community-based partnerships
Evidence shows that recovery-focused approaches:
• Reduce repeat offenses
• Save taxpayer money
• Keep families together
• Create safer, more stable communities
Justice should restore where possible, not simply cycle people back into jail.
2. Productive and Visible Community Service
I will work to expand structured community service programs that are:
• Meaningful and beneficial to the public
• Closely supervised
• Visible and transparent
• Designed to build responsibility and work ethic
Community service should contribute to the county while helping offenders repair harm and reenter society with dignity and discipline.
3. Zero Tolerance for Violence and Repeat Offenders
Compassion does not mean weakness. There must be firm consequences for those who threaten public safety.
I support:
• Aggressive prosecution of violent crimes
• Zero tolerance for abuse against women and children
• Strong action against repeat violent offenders
Protecting victims and preventing future harm must always come first.

Guiding Principle
My approach is rooted in both public safety and personal responsibility. As a Christian with some Democratic values, I believe justice must be fair, firm, and humane — holding people accountable while giving them the tools to change.
A system that only punishes fails everyone. A system that restores while protecting the innocent strengthens the entire community.
