🇺🇸 Happy 250th Independence Day from the Salemburg Fire Department 🇺🇸

Today, we proudly celebrate 250 years of American independence and honor the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering spirit of those who fought to secure the freedoms we enjoy today. We also extend our deepest gratitude to the brave men and women who continue to defend our nation and protect our communities.

As you celebrate with family and friends, we encourage everyone to do so safely. If you’re using fireworks, grilling, or enjoying time outdoors, please make safety your top priority.

From all of us at the Salemburg Fire Department, thank you for allowing us the privilege of serving this incredible community. We wish you and your family a safe, joyful, and memorable 4th of July.

The Heat Advisory previously issued has been upgraded to an Extreme Heat Warning across northern counties. The Heat Advisory (in southern counties) and Extreme Heat Warning (in northern counties) are both in effect for Friday AND Saturday. In addition, an air quality alert remains in effect Friday from 10am to 8pm for Wake, Durham, and Granville counties.

The Town is poised to officially unveil its first public park in Salemburg, marking a significant milestone for the community. The park's facilities, including playground equipment, a picnic pavilion, parking area, and pathways, will provide a secure and enjoyable space for all children.

We respectfully request that visitors refrain from entering the park until our official opening announcement, allowing crews to complete all work.
