The 235th Regiment, recently conducted a Change of Command ceremony! We bid a heartfelt and fond farewell to Col. Matt Keane, who for the past 31 months has led the Regiment with passion, care, and a purpose. His time here was highly successful, but all things must eventually come to an end. With that we are extremely excited to welcome Col. Wallace Miller back to the Regiment. Previously serving with the Regiment as the Regional Training Site Maintenance Commander. Col. Miller will bring valuable insight to the 235th coming directly from the Kansas Army National Guard G3 position. Good luck to Col. Keane and welcome to the team Col. Miller!

The Culinary Specialist Class 005 participated in Wichita’s annual Wagonmasters Downtown Chili Cookoff. There were over 10,000 attendees that got to try our amazing chili recipe along with a bite of our delicious cinnamon rolls.
Pictured with the class is the Mayor of Wichita, Lily Wu, who was very impressed with our chili recipe and opted to taking a seat in our light medium tactical vehicle (LMTV.)

Chief Warrant Officer 3 Sarah Garlisch says farewell to the Regiment during our annual Christmas party. She was recognized for her amazing dedication and all that she has done for the 235th with the Meritorious Service Medal, presented by Col. Keane. Chief Garlisch has already started her new position as the G1 Systems Officer, so we were honored to have her back to spend time with us. She has provided insight and a professionalism that will be hard to replace, but she will do great things for the State! We will miss you, keep doing great things and as always & !
