Approximately ten miles to the east of the City of Pryor in Mayes County. With an estimated population around 1400 people. The Salina Police Department is headed by the Chief of Police which is appointed by the Town Board. The police Chief is an officer of the Town and has supervision and control of the police department. It is the Duty of the Salina Police Department to apprehend violators of the law and bring them to justice and generally to keep the peace.
