What We Do

Emergency Aid: We offer limited assistance with basic living expenses such as rent, utilities, prescriptions, repairs, transportation, etc. Rent and utility assistance: Clients facing eviction or shut offs of gas, electricity or water can receive help through payments to landlords and utility companies, allowing them to keep their housing and basic servi

ces. Garden: Our renovated garden will offer community garden spaces for gardeners of all ages. Referral Service: We network with other local agencies, such as Catholic Charities and Salvation Army, refer clients to their services if needed, and pool resources if appropriate to meet clients needs.

Mark your calendars for Stocktoberfest on October 8th! This annual event helps us stock our shelves before the busy holiday season and supports our hunger relief efforts across the Salina community.

We’re planning a great evening with a BBQ dinner, music, dessert charcuterie, a wine & liquor pull, and a silent auction.

When the school year ends, many families in our Salina community feel the strain of higher food costs and fewer meal resources at home.

Our team at Salina Emergency Aid Food Bank is working hard to make sure every neighbor has access to hunger relief and emergency assistance, but summer is one of our busiest seasons — and we could really use extra hands.

We’re looking for volunteers to help keep our food pantry operations moving. Whether you're a student home for break, an educator with time to give, or someone who simply loves supporting our local community, we have a place for you.
