The water bowl at the small dog pod in Barkley Park is temporarily unavailable due to a plumbing issue. Repairs will occur early next week.

In the meantime, we encourage users to bring water for your dogs when visiting the park. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we work to resolve the issue.

Pooch Plunge is being held this evening at Kenwood Cove Aquatic Park - City of Salina from 5pm until 8pm. Bring your pups to enjoy the water as we wrap up the 2026 summer season!

Don't forget, we're wrapping things up with our annual Pooch Plunge this evening from 5pm until 8pm. Admission is $5 per adult human, dogs are FREE!🐾

As a reminder, those under 16 years old age will not be allowed into the facility! You will also need to provide documentation that your pups are up to date on their vaccinations.

Limited areas of Kenwood Cove will be open again today due to staffing concerns. Admission will be reduced by $2.

We want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable experience at the water park for the remaining two days of our season here at Kenwood Cove.

At times, the number of guests in the facility and the number of available Lifeguards require us to temporarily adjust operations.

To maintain appropriate lifeguard coverage and ensure the safety of our guests for today and tomorrow, some water park amenities may be temporarily closed and we may need to limit the number of guests admitted to the facility.

These decisions are based on the number of Lifeguards available and our ability to safely supervise the areas that are open.

We understand that closures and capacity limits can be frustrating, especially during hot weather. However, guest safety must remain our top priority, and we appreciate everyone's patience and understanding.

Today - Sunday, August 9th, unfortunately the kiddie pool, kiddie slide, and lap pool will all be closed. All admission costs will be reduced by $2 per person. There is a possibility that we will be limiting patrons into the facility, so please keep checking back for updates.
