Our track teams finished a great season yesterday at the league track meet. From coach Robinett:

We had a great end to the year! The 7th and 8th girls are league runner ups! The 7th boys were 5th and 8th boys took 4th. We had a lot of personal records broken and LaMyaa Bates broke her own 100m Hurdle record with a time of 16.99!

Thank you to all of the Mustang athletes who represented our building well this season!

I want to thank all of the teachers at Lakewood Middle School during this teacher appreciation week. I appreciate the time you put in and the care you give towards our students. You do great work!

It was a beautiful day for a track meet at Salina Stadium yesterday. From coach Robinett:

Our 7th girls took 2nd place, 8th girls took 1st place, 7th boys took 4th, and 8th boys took 3rd.

We had 3 more records go down last night.
LaMyaa Bates continues to take time off her 200m hurdles record, breaking it again with a time of 30.74!

Ella Gragg broke her own 200m hurdle record as well. New time is 32.23

The 8th Girls broke there 4x100m record again with a time of 51.84.

Our track team had another great day in Hays on Friday. 5 more school records were broken. From Coach Robinett:

LaMyaa broke her own 200m Hurdle record.

The 8th Girls broke the 4x100m relay with a time of 52.09.

Ayden Ards broke the 8th grade boys Javelin record with a throw of 92’ 11”
Eathyn Thille set a new Javelin record for 7th Boys with a throw of 61’
Acelyn Matt broke the 7th girls Javelin record with a throw of 72’ 4”

For the year that makes 10 records the track team has broken this year!
