I am not crying.. well, yes I am. Our adopters and supporters are so utterly kind and sweet to us. In honor of my three babies who are waiting for me at the bridge; we have a phenomenal matching donation offer for the month of love. 💕
This means so much to me. She’Ra our founding pup, Nora Green Bean and Sir Duke have touched so many hearts. And they certainly have a piece of my with them, up there. I miss them so utterly much. 2019, 2021 and 2023 were the worst years. Losing those three - has really changed my soul. What I would do, and give, to have them back.

Be prepared! Be responsible! It’ll be HOT!

Ask yourself: do my animals and pets have shade, water and can be safely comfortable in this upcoming heat spell??? The answer should be YES. (If not, you have work to do).

Do NOT leave your pet in the car for any reason or for any amount of time during this heat. Not even if they give you those puppy dog eyes. Their life is not worth a trip to the store.
Leave. Them. Home.

UPGRADE!! The Excessive Heat Watch has been upgraded to an Excessive Heat Warning with the inclusion of the Northern Salinas Valley. Little heat relief will be near the coast. A Heat Advisory has been issued for coastal areas.

Both the Excessive Heat Warning and Heat Advisory are valid from Saturday at 11 AM to Monday at 9PM PDT.
