Your Car Week Ticket Could Help Change a Senior’s Life

This Saturday, August 15, Alliance On Aging will be part of the Monterey Motorsports Festival not just to celebrate incredible automobiles and Car Week culture, but to represent the thousands of older adults we serve throughout Monterey County.

We’ve been given a limited number of special $100 tickets, and 100% of every ticket purchased through Alliance On Aging stays local, helping fund critical programs including:

• Senior Peer Counseling and emotional support services
• Elder advocacy through our Ombudsman Program
• Resources that help older adults age with dignity and connection

Tickets are limited and going quickly.

Purchase directly through Alliance On Aging by stopping by or emailing [email protected].

If tickets through us are sold out, you can still support our mission by purchasing through the Monterey Motorsports Festival website and entering promo code AOAMMF at checkout. While those ticket proceeds do not directly return to Alliance On Aging, your code use helps strengthen our visibility and future nonprofit partnership opportunities.

$2.59 million in refunds returned to Monterey County seniors thanks to an incredible team of volunteers.

Alliance On Aging’s Tax Counseling for the Elderly Program continues to make a meaningful impact for local residents age 60 and older by providing trusted, no-cost tax preparation services in both English and Spanish. This tax season alone, dedicated IRS-certified volunteers prepared 2,365 federal tax returns, generating more than $2.59 million in total refunds for local seniors.

This program is about more than taxes — it’s about dignity, support, guidance, and helping older adults access important financial resources with confidence.

A heartfelt thank you to every volunteer who gave their time, expertise, and compassion to serve our community. Alliance on Aging truly could not do this important work without you.

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their courage, dedication, and sacrifice have safeguarded the freedoms we cherish every day.

At Alliance on Aging, we hold deep gratitude for those who served — and for the families who carry on their legacy. As we reflect, we also recognize the many older veterans in our community who continue to inspire us with their resilience and strength.

This Memorial Day, may we all take a moment to remember. To reflect. And to honor.
