A will is the most familiar way to leave a legacy gift. It is not the only one.

Donors have supported Alliance On Aging through charitable remainder trusts, charitable lead trusts, outright gifts of securities, retirement assets, life insurance, and proceeds from the sale of real estate. Several of these carry meaningful tax advantages during your lifetime.

Planned giving is a creative process. It adapts to what you want to accomplish, not the other way around.
