It was great to host Girl Scout Troop 40034 as they worked toward their First Aid badge! 🚒

Our firefighters discussed basic first aid, handling emergencies, and how to effectively communicate with first responders during a call. Great job to all the scouts on taking these important safety steps!

Small actions today can prevent fires tomorrow. If you smoke, take it outside, use a deep, sturdy ashtray, and never toss smoking materials directly into the trash.

Medical oxygen can make fires ignite easier and burn faster. Never smoke or allow anyone to smoke where medical oxygen is being used. Help keep everyone safe.
