After the heavy rain we saw today there are several areas of town with standing water over the road. In just the first hour of the storm we received almost 2” of rain.

Please remember to never drive into standing water and to find an alternate route. Better yet, if your trip can wait until the water has subsided stay safe at home.

Please extend happy thoughts and prayers for a smooth transition for our newly minted favorite Saline Firefighter EMT! Nick’s humble beginnings started as a high school sophomore working as an expo and continued as a server and general floor manager while going to college. His first day with Saline Fire Department was yesterday and we could not be more proud of him!
