Hoy salí a poner mis letreros en varias áreas del Precinto 7.

Quiero darles las gracias a todas las personas que me recibieron con una sonrisa, un saludo y palabras de apoyo. Me dio mucho gusto poder platicar con ustedes y escuchar lo que les preocupa.

Yo quiero ser un Constable que esté cerca de la gente, que escuche y que trabaje todos los días por nuestra comunidad.

Hoy, la Corte de Comisionados nombrará a una persona para ocupar el puesto de Constable en nuestro Precincto Electoral 7 **TEMPORALMENTE** hasta la elección.

Sin embargo, esa persona fue DESIGNADA y no elegida por el pueblo.

Esta elección es la oportunidad para que la comunidad tenga voz y pueda
escoger a quien quiere que los represente.

Nuestra comunidad merece esa oportunidad.

Mi meta es seguir sirviendo al Precinto 7 con la misma dedicación que he demostrado por más de dos
décadas.

Me importa nuestra gente, nuestra seguridad y el futuro de nuestra comunidad. Estoy comprometido a estar presente, a escuchar y a trabajar siempre pensando en el bienestar de nuestra comunidad.

Soy Erasmo Garza, Jr., y por más de veinte años he tenido el honor de servir como oficial de seguridad en el Distrito Escolar de Roma. Mi trabajo nunca ha sido solo seguridad. Siempre ha sido proteger a nuestros niños y asegurarme de que estén seguros todos los días.

He estado presente para miles de estudiantes a lo largo de los años, durante el horario escolar, en programas después de clases y en actividades extracurriculares. He hecho de mi responsabilidad crear un ambiente seguro donde los padres puedan sentirse tranquilos sabiendo que sus hijos están bien cuidados.

Como padre, entiendo la confianza que se necesita para dejar a un hijo en la escuela. Uno quiere saber que están seguros. Uno quiere saber que si algo llega a pasar, habrá alguien listo para actuar sin dudar. Esa es una responsabilidad que he llevado todos los días y que tomo muy en serio.

Servir como constable significa continuar con ese mismo compromiso hacia nuestra comunidad. Significa proteger a las familias, hacer lo correcto y estar presente cuando más se necesita.

He dedicado mi vida a servir en silencio, sin buscar reconocimiento, pero siempre poniendo a nuestra comunidad primero. Estoy listo para continuar ese servicio y proteger a la gente del Condado de Starr.

I have been there for thousands of students throughout the years, during school hours, after school programs, and extracurricular activities. I have made it my responsibility to help create a safe environment where parents can feel at peace knowing their children are being watched over.

As a parent, I understand the trust it takes to drop off your child at school. You want to know they are safe. You want to know that if something ever happens, someone will be there to step in without hesitation. That is the responsibility I have carried every day, and one I take very seriously.

Serving as a constable means continuing that same commitment to our community. It means protecting families, standing up for what is right, and being present when it matters most.

I have spent my life serving quietly, without asking for recognition, but always putting our community first. I am ready to continue that service and protect the people of Starr County.

Erasmo Garza Jr. es un hombre comprometido con su comunidad, quien ha vivido toda su vida en Salineño, Texas. Es esposo de Roxana Rodríguez y orgulloso padre de dos hijas. Actualmente trabaja como oficial de seguridad en el Distrito Escolar de Roma, donde por años ha dedicado su tiempo a proteger a los estudiantes y brindar tranquilidad a las familias. También ha servido como voluntario en múltiples eventos comunitarios, siempre enfocado en la seguridad de los niños y las familias. Hoy, busca continuar ese compromiso de servicio como candidato independiente para Constable del Precinto 7, con la visión de ser un servidor público presente, accesible y dedicado al bienestar de su comunidad.
