Notice of Public Hearing
Town of Salisbury

Notice is hereby given that there will be a 'Public Hearing' for the Town of Salisbury, Herkimer County, New York on Thursday, September 17, 2026 in the Town Hall meeting room, Salisbury Center, NY. Subject matter will be to discuss the 'special use permit' request submitted by the Salisbury Ridge Runners Club for the construction of three (3) cabins on their property. At such hearing any person may be heard in favor or against said proposal.

the town office will re-open on Tuesday, Sept. 1st. for regular hours as I have been cleared to return to the town clerk's office by my doctor. Thank you all for understanding my absence and my appreciation to Pat Peters for covering for me while I was in the hospital in Albany. 😘

Our Salisbury Summer Park Program was a HUGE SUCCESS! We had 71 kids register for the program & employed 13 students in our district to work! The kids enjoyed pine lake, bowling, roller skating, movies, arts & crafts, sports, and just getting to hang out everyday!!
THANKS to our amazing donors, every single trip, movie & ice cream was FREE TO EVERY KID!!!! We couldn't have done it without our community!
Since this year was such a great success, we will be planning Summer 2027!! Look for our updates!!
Also, please give a big thank you to our donors who helped make this summer amazing for so many kids in our community!!

A Rare opportunity to learn!

The Salisbury Historical Society is asking for anyone possessing information on their ancestors, who were from Salisbury, that might like to share that information with the Historical Society. There have been requests attempting to do genealogy searches for families. Should you have any such information and would like to share it with the Historical Society, bring a copy to the town hall and it will be given to the Historical Society and made available to interested parties.
