The parade has concluded and Beach Road is now open to vehicles. Reminder: Elm St in front of the Post Office will be closed until approximately 4pm for events at the Town Common

ITS PARADE DAY!

AMERICA’S 250TH PARADE
BEFORE YOU HEAD OUT…

WHERE: Steps off in front of the Police Station, 181 Beach Rd., and travels down Beach Road, ending at CVS, 1 Beach Rd.

WHEN: TODAY — Sunday, Sept. 20 at 10 AM SHARP!
Plan for approximately 2 hours.

WHO: 50+ trucks, cars, motorcycles, bands, groups & more!

RAIN? WEAR A RAINCOAT!
The parade is rain or shine.

CANDY? YES!
Get those kiddos ready!

PARKING:
DO NOT PARK ON BEACH ROAD.

Designated parking:
• Hunt Memorial — DESIGNATED AREAS ONLY
• Star of the Sea Church
• Town Hall
• Richdale lot
• Memorial Field

Arrive early. Side-street parking may be available where permitted.

ONCE YOU LAND ON THE COMMON…

Enjoy the Fair in the Square, Fireman’s Muster, historic tours and so much more. A full schedule is in the comments — make a day of it!

FREE MEVA BUS:
Service will resume once Beach Road reopens and will run approximately hourly back toward the beach.

NEED TO GET AROUND TOWN?

Beach Road closes at 10 AM for approximately 2 hours.

• Bridge Road/Pleasant Street in front of the Common — short-term closure after the parade
• School Street — two-way traffic Sunday
• Elm Street, Post Office to Library — closed 9 AM–5 PM

Signs will be posted, and Salisbury Police Department and DPW will be out helping direct traffic.

Come early, plan ahead, bring the family, and get ready for a BIG day in the Town of Salisbury!

Last night, the Board of Selectmen proudly recognized Lieutenant Rich Dellaria for his outstanding achievement in graduating from the prestigious FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia. Lt. Dellaria was joined by his wife, who stood proudly by his side as the Board honored his dedication to public service, leadership, and professional excellence.

This milestone reflects Lt. Dellaria’s commitment to advancing his skills and strengthening the department and community he serves.
