Congratulations to SPD’s newest officer, Zachary Elzey, today, he graduated from the Eastern Shore Criminal Justice Academy alongside other officers and deputies from across the state.
Following the ceremony, Officer Elzey was officially sworn in—surrounded by his family, friends, fellow SPD personnel, Chief Meienschein, Mayor Randy Taylor, and Clerk of the Court James “Bo” McAlister—marking one of the most meaningful milestones in any law enforcement career.
