In partnership with Rufty Holmes Senior Center, the Salisbury Police Department will host a Cultivating Community Conversation with an emphasis on older adults. The event will be at the City Park Recreation Center on Thursday, October 17, at 11:30 a.m.

This is a community fellowship opportunity made possible by the Duke Energy Grant for Diversity and Inclusion for Law Enforcement and Community to Enhance Cultural Responsiveness.

The luncheon’s objective is to improve community and police relations by creating an opportunity for residents to meet and talk with officers;
providing residents a space to share feedback and express concerns; and addressing untruths and perceptions about local police and policing.

All are welcome to attend. Lunch will be served.

Please contact Michael Brooks for more information at [email protected] or 704-638-5220.
