Open to all in the surrounding areas!

Looking for a fun way to get your child active this fall? Springfield Soccer Club is FREE and open to ALL! No experience is necessary—come out, learn the game, build skills, and have fun! 💚⚽

⚽ Teams/Ages:
• A Team Squad — Ages 8–12
• B Team Squad — Ages 5–7
• Junior Squad — Ages 3–4
📅 Thursdays, September 3 – October 29
⏰ 6:00–7:20 PM
📍 Town Hall Fields — 1505 Georgia St. Springfield, SC

Everything you need to know: Shin guards are provided, along with soccer balls and Gatorade. Players may wear tennis shoes or soccer cleats. They are welcome to bring their own water bottle and soccer ball if they prefer.

🎄 Angel Tree 2026 registration is opening soon! 🎄

The Salvation Army of Aiken will accept applications for Christmas assistance September 1–20. Registration is online only at saangeltree.org.

The program serves children ages 12 and under who live in Aiken, Allendale, Barnwell, or Edgefield counties.

Before applying, please have the following documents ready:

• Primary identification for the head of household
• Birth certificates for all children
• Proof of all household income
• Proof of all household expenses
• Proof of residency

Please upload every required document, save your work, and regularly check your email after applying. Email will be our primary method of communication.

Important: Families receiving Christmas assistance from The Salvation Army may not apply for assistance through another agency.

We may be inland, but hurricane season peaks in August and September. Remember Hurricane Helene? That incident occurred on September 26, 2024.

Landfalling storms can bring damaging wind, flooding rain, and even tornadoes hundreds of miles from the coast. Now is the time to review your kit and plan, not after a storm is already in the forecast (there are two storms in our forecast at the moment). Ask yourself what you wish you had during Helene and pack it.
