Today we were proud to celebrate the SFR: Sallisaw First Responders with an official Sallisaw Chamber ribbon cutting!

SFR is bringing our community together to support, recognize, and give back to the first responders who serve Sallisaw every day. We’re excited to welcome them as a Chamber member and see what the future holds for this organization!

Leadership 1 was all about local healthcare today!

Through the Sallisaw Chamber Leadership Program, participants get an inside look at the organizations, industries, and people that help keep our community moving forward. Today, we heard from:

🏥 Northeastern Health System Sequoyah
🩺 Redbird Smith Health Center
❤️ Sequoyah County Health Department
💙 Health & Wellness Center of Sallisaw

The goal is simple: better-informed leaders build stronger communities.

Did you know Chamber members can enroll in our Leadership Program? It’s a great opportunity to learn more about Sallisaw, build relationships with other local leaders, and gain a deeper understanding of what’s happening throughout our community.

Leadership leaves a legacy.

We honor Marty Green after years of dedicated service as Executive Director of the Sallisaw Chamber of Commerce. We recognize the Chamber Presidents who served alongside him throughout his tenure. Their vision, leadership, and countless volunteer hours continued to build the strong, respected organization our business community enjoys today.

Thank you, Marty, and thank you to each of these past Presidents for leading well. We are grateful for your service and excited to carry that legacy forward as we continue building an even brighter future for Sallisaw.

Today we had the pleasure of celebrating their official Sallisaw Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting! Thank you to everyone who came out, and a special thanks to Michael and his team for the incredible spread of food and hospitality.

Michael’s Clock Shop has actually been a Chamber member for about a year, and today was the perfect opportunity to officially celebrate their business with a ribbon cutting.

Did you know? You don’t have to be a brand-new business to have a ribbon cutting. Whether you’ve recently joined the Chamber, moved locations, expanded, remodeled, or simply never had one, we’d love to help you celebrate your business!
