There are reports of an active text and email scam targeting Oklahomans.

These are fraudulent text messages or emails claiming to be from the Oklahoma Department of Public Safety - Driver License Services (DPS) and they are not legitimate.

Scammers are claiming your registration will be revoked and your Driver License will be suspended for 30 days.

A reminder from Service Oklahoma:
• We will never call or text you to ask for payment or financial information
• Do not click links or respond to suspicious messages
• Delete and report as spam
• Our licensed operators will never request money or account info through a text

If you receive a suspicious email or text DO NOT CLICK on the links.

If you’ve already clicked a link or entered information, take immediate steps to secure your accounts.

Attention Sallisaw Tag Office Customers! We will be closed Thursday, February 12th through Monday, February 16th. We will reopen on Tuesday, February 17th.

Service Oklahoma BOOST, Oklahoma’s new driver license and motor vehicle system, goes live on Tuesday, Feb. 17. To prepare for this statewide transition, we have an important update to support your planning.

From Thursday, Feb. 12 through Monday, Feb. 16, all driver license and motor vehicle systems and services will be unavailable.

Why this Closure Window is Essential
This window is required to safely transition our current systems to BOOST.

Planning ahead now ensures we open on Tuesday with the most stable and secure system possible.
