JFS is so grateful to the wonderful crew from Sites by Sara for spending time volunteering in the Alex & Sally Lebwohl Food Pantry this week!

They rolled up their sleeves to sort our Monday grocery rescue, prepare food bags for clients, and stock pantry shelves — helping make sure our neighbors have access to the food they need.

Thank you, Sites by Sara, for giving your time and energy to support our community! We’re grateful for you and for all the volunteers who make our pantry possible.

There were lots of smiles at the Alex & Sally Lebwohl Food Pantry as children picked out new shoes and grade-specific school supply kits to kick off the new school year.

We’re grateful to Congregation Kol Ami for their generous shoe drive and to our dedicated JFS volunteers, who purchased and thoughtfully assembled school supply kits, each with a special message of encouragement.

Thank you to everyone who continues to show up for our community and help make moments like these possible!

Back-to-school season brings excitement, but for families facing financial challenges, the cost of shoes and school supplies can add stress.

Thanks to Congregation Kol Ami and dedicated JFS volunteers, children from families visiting the Alex & Sally Lebwohl Food Pantry will receive new shoes and grade-specific school supply kits, each assembled with care and a message of encouragement.

From January through June, our food pantry provided food to more than 4,500 children experiencing food insecurity. Thank you to everyone helping our community start the school year feeling prepared, supported, and cared for!
