Happy Independence Day 🇺🇸
“Freedom of men under government is to have a standing rule to live by, common to every one of that society, and made by the legislative power erected in it; a liberty to follow my own will in all things, where the rule prescribes not; and not to be subject to the inconstant, uncertain, unknown, arbitrary will of another man.”
Our founding began well before July 4 1776 when the people living here, in colonies and communities found themselves at odds with subjugation by a Monarch over burdening their lives.
Faced with these challenges a few rebels began to sow the natural knowledge of inalienable rights that burns in the heart of even the lowliest person, into a new nation and a leap forward out of the darkness of tyranny.
Now we find ourselves 248 years from the birth of that nation. One we may take for granted as we live lives free from the yoke of a king.
America is Great! God Bless America for what it is and what it can be , it is our responsibility to keep her great.
The lack there of, rests with all of us. The evidence in which we find ourselves in the conditions of today.
Any inconvenience from taxation, laws, regulations, wars, or the disrespect for our way of life by those currently in power or any citizen or any person on this great land reflects on us. It mirrors what we take for granted and our actions—or lack thereof—in upholding the principles that our republic was founded upon. We are accountable for maintaining what has been established.
Responsibility and Accountability help to maintain the balance that Liberty requires.
…And you thought I was going to gaslight you on this July 4 th.
Nope.
We are at a pivotal point in an experience started 248 yrs ago, a flash in time, in human history where people were set to govern themselves by representation, a compact, the constitutional Republic.
We can not escape responsibility, as it accompanies the rights that have been gifted us by our creator.
Take a moment and read the declaration of independence with your family, your friends, your self.
Read the Bill of Rights and take a moment to think on what we have and what can not be taken away so long as we honor the blood shed from the beginning of the revolution til today, that makes it possible for you and I to enjoy today and every day after in the greatest nation that has been formed for the people. not perfect, but a nation that is in the pursuit of perfection and the defense of individual rights of man.
A nation that, among all the world must become great again!
Happy 4th of July 2024.
