Each month they share volunteer opportunities that create personal, one-on-one connections — from helping someone practice English to mentoring students or simply becoming a friend.

Looking for a meaningful way to serve this summer? ☀️💛

Utah Refugeee Connection is inviting families, friend groups, businesses, church groups, and community teams to put together hygiene and essentials kits for newly arriving refugee families in Utah. These simple kits help families feel welcomed, supported, and cared for during a major life transition.

Whether you want a family service project, a team-building activity, or a way to give back with your coworkers, this is such an easy and impactful way to help.

Kits can be dropped off at our Sharehouse:
Mondays & Wednesdays from 10–2

We are so close to our goal for our Loads of Hope Laundy Detergent Fund! WE NEED YOUR HELP!!

We are currently in need of laundry detergent (85 oz–120 oz preferred). Fragrance free or gentle formulas are especially appreciated. No bleach, please.

She is preparing to give birth in a new country, far from familiar systems and far from family support, unsure if she had what she needed to care for her baby. When she arrived, you could feel the weight she was carrying.....

Our friends at English Skills Learning Center need some help!

We’re looking for a few short-term childcare helpers during the month of June on Mondays and Wednesdays! 💛

If you enjoy spending time with kids and want to support adult English learners in our community, we’d love to have you join us. Helpers must complete a background check. Friends are welcome to volunteer together, and parents are welcome to bring their own children along, too! Volunteers under 18 are welcome if accompanied by another volunteer over 18.

This is a wonderful way to make a meaningful impact in just a few hours each week. Message us or call/text 385-257-7170 for more details.

We’re almost halfway to our goal of providing “loads of hope” for local refugee families. 🧺💙

Recently, our laundry detergent shelves were completely bare and in need of restocking. Thanks to this amazing community, we’re already making progress toward filling them again.

Something as simple as laundry detergent provides dignity, comfort, and practical support for families rebuilding their lives here in Utah.

We gave hundreds of these grocery carts out at Christmas time. Because of you, they are being used in the community.

(Sometimes not even as we thought they would be used😳. At our Mother’s Day event, we were glad to help moms have the car seats, strollers and pack n plays they need. We love the ingenuity of refugees using anything they have to get things done.)
