Somehow, lame-duck and overall bigoted pick-me State Senator Dan McCay found a way to make the worst State Senator from Salt Lake County a little more lame.

1. The Calloway x Good Good collab was sexist and misogynistic. But was also not funny. Because violence against women is not a joke.
2. The blowback is a consequence for thinly-veiled misogyny - you know, market forces.
3. May your tee shots remain like your soon-to-be complete senate tenure - swinging far-right and off course.

Senate District 18 and your constituents fired you because you were tone-deaf, out of touch, and generally an unlikeable person. And, like Good Good Golf, you’ll soon be a warning and example of what not to be and some shots are so bad you don’t get a Mulligan.

Public lands belong to all of us.

Protecting them from extractive development means safeguarding clean water, wildlife, recreation, and the landscapes that define Utah. Our public lands are more than resources to be mined or drilled—they’re a legacy worth protecting and passing on to future generations.

The GOP’s claims of advocating for local control fall flat when mining, logging and other extractive practices are baked into the rollback of broader protections.

Matt MacPherson is at it again.

At best you’re telling on yourself for not getting the nuance of what this shirt means. At worst, you’re gonna be accused of sympathizing with that first word in the shirt. Is that what you want? Really?

“Moral inversion” is doing a lot of work here, Rep. MacPherson. Na**sm isn’t a protected class — it’s a chosen ideology built on genocide. Saying “Nazi Lives Don’t Matter” isn’t dehumanizing a category of people, it’s refusing to sanitize the one category that dehumanized everyone else. If you can’t tell the difference between an immutable trait and a genocidal political commitment, that’s not a gotcha on Schott — it’s a pretty revealing gap in your own moral reasoning.

Utah deserves better than Matt MacPherson’s pandering to the worst of us. Vote better this year. Vote for Michael Finch in House District 26. VoteFinch.com

Affordable housing out of reach? First-time homeowners are getting priced out of Salt Lake County and rent shouldn’t cost more than a mortgage used to. Vote for candidates who’ll actually make helping Utahns plant roots a priority and protect affordable housing instead of bend over backwards to appease developers and their profits.
