Salt Rock Volunteer Fire Department The Salt Rock Volunteer Fire Dept is equipped with 3 engines, 1 mini pumper/rescue, 1 utility, and a boat. Staffed by 25 VOLUNTEERS.

We are always taking applications for membership just come to our meeting night which is held on the fourth Monday of every month at 19:30 hours.

Just to clear the air Salt Rock Volunteer Fire Department is not under any type of investigation nor has it been under Investigation! We were taken out of 911 rotation for approx 3.5 hrs due to paperwork not being received by workers comp on time via mail! Those were scanned and emailed and with in 3.5 hours we returned to service with 911. During that time arrangements were made for Mutual Aid Departments to cover the Salt Rock area and No calls went unanswered or were missed!
